Last friday dr. Fred Raleigh, winner of the prize for the Wine for Hope Raffle Xmas 2008 edition, was at dinner by Burde! Pleasant evening (or so I think) for him and his wife with a lot of small talk about Italy, italians, Florence and Tuscany, and how surreal life can be when you find yourself miles away from your house in California for having won a raffle…And obviously we spoke about Pegasos 2005 by Soldera that was paired with the menu, soft, pure, almost sweet and delicate, truly Sangiovese, and truly MAGIC!
