Here in Florence it’s always easy not speaking about the weather but discuss about how terrible is our bus system but our ATAF has a good marketing office that works and produces every month some interesting issues. This time they thought about “selling” some of the bus stop to sponsors that can put their logo and names on the bus stop itself. This means that you can cathc a bus and say “Stop by the Burde stop” instead of waiting for the “Quaracchi 2 “stop. And this means that also on the timetable is written “Burde” and not some other local and not immediately recognizable place.
Burde has became sponsors of two bus stop in via Pistoiese and they are “Borgo Burde 1” and “borgo Burde 2” at the opposite sites of the via pistoiese near the restaurant.
So if you are in florence dowtown, just catch the bus 35 and say “stop me by borgo burde”! Easy, isn’t it?
